Just look at all the items that should be banned from supermarket shelves or the coffee that people line up for as a drug, and you will see that soon you will get ill just the same as all those people who shop for these so called foods. Well, I just finished packing, finally and after my obsessive compulsive 6th check over everything, I think I am about halfway to being ready to consider to leave the house! 5 hours and counting! 8 till I leave the ground and head for Paris!
Once I arrive in Paris I have to buy a train ticket to Grenoble, find my apartment, check in with my school and finally crash in my 5m x 4m room and go to sleep for the first time in about 36 hours! YAY!
I am starting to get a little nervous now about going. Yesterday whilst going over my info package sent by the school it informed me that I should have about 2000 euros in traveler’s chorus before I go! I only had 300 euros in cash so the crise cardiaque began! Suddenly I had visions flying through my head of me alone and homeless on the streets of France, dancing and speaking broken French for euros! Luckily we went to the bank and they informed me my debit card worked, I swear they piped in the hallelujah chorus at that moment, let me tell you! So I cleaned out the bank of their remaining euros, which wasn’t much, just incase and started to relax and enjoy the rest of my day!
I am currently sitting in my room at home in Ontario and going over EVERYTHING in my head another time. If you don’t know me very well I tend to get just a touch nervous when things don’t run smoothly, as many of my friends can testify to this, lol! So I make sure everything is perfect, but there is always something that gets in the way to screw you up, which is why I have contingency plans, ahahaha! Take that, naw but not really, I cannot afford bad karma!
So the 441 is I am going to Grenoble in the Alps to study management for 4 months and travel as much as I can! BUT, I also want to:
1. Do dance classes there
2. Take cooking lessons and become the next Julia Child, lol
3. Not gain 300 pounds!
4. LEARN FRENCH!
I feel like these are fairly modest goals so I hope to achieve all of them!
